No other bridal jewelry can be as elegant and beautiful as pearl jewelry. Colors and luster of pearls have something very pure and serene; that makes pearls as perfect gems for wedding day, the most important day in any women’s life.

You can make this day more special, if you make your own pearl bridal necklace. This necklace will be unique and since you have made it, now would be special. Pearls are perfect for wedding as they compliment any wedding theme.

To make your own bridal pearl necklace you will require around 20 inches of beading wire. Since it is your bridal necklace you can have silver or gold plated wire. Decide the length of necklace depending on neckline of your wedding gown. Then take around 60 freshwater pearls. Freshwater pearls are preferred since they are affordable and available in all shades, so you can have color of pearls that will exactly match to your wedding gown. To make you pearl necklace more stylish and to add some sparkles to your look, you can add some gold plated rhinestone studded rondelles; then you need some crimp beads and one pair of clasps.

Now first cut the wire of desired length, then add one crimp bead and link the clasp, then come back through pearl and crimp bead, close crimp bead with crimping pliers. Then slide around 20 pearls; then add one rhinestone rondelle, then slide one more pearl and repeat this for next 20 pearls, add one rhinestone rondelle after each pearl. This is the centerpiece of your necklace. Now slide remaining 20 pearls. Then fit snuggly crimp bead and then add clasps. Trim the remaining wire. Your Bridal pearl necklace is ready.

To add some shine and sparkles you can even add some crystal beads or you can combine these pearls with some other gemstone beads like jade or agate beads.
